Everything You Need
To Know.

What makes Legacy Training different from other nutrition coaches?

First, your coach is a physician. Ali spent over a decade in clinical medicine before building Legacy Training, which means your plan is informed by a genuine understanding of physiology, not just fitness certifications. But credentials alone don't change lives. What makes the real difference is relationship. You're not handed a plan and left to figure it out. Ali shows up every week, learns your patterns, adjusts when things aren't working, and holds you accountable in a way that's honest but never discouraging. Lauren ensures that every client feels genuinely supported throughout the process. The combination of clinical depth and real human investment is what gets results and keeps clients coming back.

Why work with Legacy Training when I can get a macro plan from an AI tool?

AI tools can give you a starting point and that's genuinely useful. But there are a few things they can't do. They can't adjust your plan based on the fact that your stress has been high and your sleep has been off. They don't know that the meal plan they generated doesn't account for how your body specifically responds to certain foods. They're not going to notice the nuances of your daily rhythms and how that affects your health. And most importantly, they can't hold you accountable. Knowing that we are going to ask you how the week went is one of the most powerful tools in behavior change and no algorithm replicates that. AI is a tool. Legacy Training is a relationship.

What's the difference between Foundation and Performance?

Foundation is about building the habits and education to make healthy living sustainable. It's for the person who wants guidance to feel better, eat smarter, and move more consistently. We start with the basics, build gradually, and introduce tools like macro tracking when you're ready for them. Performance is about precision. It's for the person who already has a foundation and is working toward something specific, like a race, competition, or health diagnosis they're serious about reversing. Everything is dialed in around your goal, your timeline, and how your body specifically responds.

Do I need to get lab work done before starting?

Not required, but one of the real advantages of working with a physician. Lab work gives us a clinical baseline that makes the coaching significantly more effective. It's one of the things that makes Legacy Training genuinely different.

How long before I see results?

Most clients notice improvements in energy and sleep within the first few weeks. Body composition changes typically follow within the first couple of months. Significant biomarker improvements are usually visible in three months. Results vary depending on your starting point and consistency, but the clients who show up, stay honest, and trust the process see meaningful change.

Is coaching done in person or virtually?

All coaching is done virtually, which means you can work with Legacy Training from anywhere. Sessions are conducted via video calls, check-ins happen through messaging and phone calls, and lab reviews and progress assessments are just as effective remotely. Our clients are located across the country.

What does the onboarding process look like?

After you reach out, we send an intake questionnaire covering your goals, health history, and current habits. You'll also complete a week of tracking so we can see where you're starting from. Everything is reviewed before your first session, so when you show up, we're prepared to help.

How long is a typical engagement?

We require a 3-month minimum commitment — long enough to build real habits, see changes in your numbers, and understand how your body responds. Our typical engagement is 6-9 months. Real, lasting change takes time and we'd rather do it right than fast. Our goal from day one is to educate and empower you to the point where you don't need us anymore. The win for us is a client who graduates confident and equipped to maintain their health on their own.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you've tried programs and couldn't sustain them; if your labs are trending in the wrong direction; or if you're tired of generic advice that doesn't account for your actual life, this is likely what has been missing. Legacy Training works especially well for busy professionals and parents who are ready to take their health seriously, and for seniors who want to stay ahead of or reverse chronic illness. If you're not sure, reach out. We'll be honest about whether we're the right fit.
